Remember do register on our Mailing List to ensure we can keep you informed on the details of our Chiltern Day walks (more walks including mid-week dates will be added during the year) and detailed information on each walk and start points will be issued closer to each date. Click the link below to register.
Transport
As we encourage green travel many of our walks will be supported by our Walkfree Breakfree minibuses with pick up points from High Wycombe and other convenient rail/bus stations or points on route to the walk start points. However, this is dependent upon minibus availability and can only be confirmed some days prior to the walk (a discretionary voluntary contribution towards fuel costs will be accepted).
Lunch
On most of our walks we suggest participants bring along sandwiches as we rarely stop for a full pub lunch – at times liquid refreshments yes. We find outdoors eating a sociable experience allowing us to make the most of our day and it also reduces the cost. So if I don’t mention specific lunch details – do remember those sandwiches.
Terms & Conditions
Please note our Chiltern day walk programme is undertaken entirely at your own risk and Walkfree Breakfree Ltd accept no responsibility or liability as you join the walk on the basis of a participating adult and are therefore freely responsible for your own actions and decisions. You will be required (if not already a member) to register as Club Experience members - membership is free and a registration form is available below.
All those participating on walks do need to be walking fit, but our walks in the Chilterns are achievable by anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. You need to be equipped with appropriate footwear, clothing and equipment for the weather conditions on the day.
