Dunkirk SpiritOn this trip we stay in Dunkirk and enjoy its lovely town centre and marinas. From here we have a fabulous base to walk along the famous beach from where the British forces were rescued during WW2. The area has much to offer including the unique sand dunes of Flanders, the ancient port of Gravelines and Bergues. A short weekend escape but it will not disappoint that is for sure. |
Le Festive Hop to BoulogneThis walking weekend takes us across the English Channel to enjoy walks in the Pas de Calais region and visit the city of Boulogne where we will celebrate with the citizens the arrival of Saint Nicholas. Boulogne is a lovely seaside town with a splendid medieval town centre and ancient cathedral surrounded by ancient fortified town walls. We promise the Saint Nicholas parade and fireworks display will enchant and make this weekend a perfect start to the magic and joy of the festive season.
