Norfolk Walks and a simple introduction to bird watching

One of our classic all time favourites - staying in the delightful Deepdale Granary Group Hostel  or comfortable guest houses - who can forget that Nelson's Blood and Lady Hamilton's Nip! A converted 17th century building this hostel is perfect for socialising and relaxing and access to the walks and outdoor activities we enjoy. The area is famous for its nature and bird reserves, especially Titchwell and Holkham and has many fascinating ancient churches and stately homes along the coastline and nearby. Norfolk offers a range of low level easy walking to enable us to enjoy all the bounties of a lovely county. Ideal for groups from London who can be picked up from a public transport hub or for incoming groups visiting the UK who can be picked up direct at your arrival airport.

St David's & The Pembrokeshire - stunning coastal walks and spring flowers.

Once visited - never forgotten - on our last visit of some years back, I recall stunning coastal walks with truly magical displays of alpine style flowers and views from high cliffs of dolphins and seals in the sea far below. We will be staying at the Caerhafod Lodge (or as required more luxury accommodation) which is ideally situated between the famous cathedral city of St David's and the Irish ferry port of Fishguard. It overlooks the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and is within easy walking distance of the well known Sloop Inn at Porthgain and the internationally renowned Coastal Path. Brilliant for a three day group weekend

Exmoor - hills and coast for one and all

Exmoor and the Quantocks, Exmoor National Park, the second-smallest in England and Wales and the Quantocks an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offer lovely and interesting walks for groups of all ages and ability. Compared to Dartmoor and the moorlands of northern England, Exmoor is less bleak and forbidding but yet contains large areas of wild and open country and the very popular rambling areas such as Brendon Common, Winsford Hill and Dunkery Beacon. Together they comprise a relatively small area with a remarkable diversity of scenery making it ideal for groups exploring on foot - whatever their needs - a half day stroll or longer treks across hills and moors. Do contact us and we will organise a visit that fits your needs.

North East Scotland - quiet and stunning - walks or cycle rides, castles, quaint fishing villages and the distilleries along the Speyside Way

History and heritage and some of Europe's finest and most unspoilt coastline awaits you on The North East Coastal Trail, its breathtaking, panoramic views will excite, craggy cliff tops with secret coves and tiny towns with secluded harbours and inland villages that seem to offer a step back in time. And with the annual spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival taking place from the 29th April to 3rd May 2010 you have an ideal opportunity to enjoy and celebrate - the whisky, food, music, people, the heritage and culture with entire villages welcoming visitors with malt whiskies, special tastings, ceilidhs and a wide array of other entertaining events. To enjoy a remarkable and very different group visit during the festival or at any other time contact us now.
